Real Bionic Woman

A woman named Mitchell got in a motorcycle accident and had to get her arm amputated all the way up to her shoulder. Since her prosthetic arm didn't work she thought that she would just have one arm for the rest of her life. She found an article in the paper that was talking about an experimental nerve surgery to where the brain could control what the arm would do. The doctors took the dormant nerves and attached them to her chest muscles. She volunteered and came out with two functioning arms.

This is an amazing article. I think it is really cool how they took her nerves and connected them to give her a working arm. Now she can work the same way as everyone again.
